The purpose of our organization is to prompt the enjoyment of recreational vehicles and outdoor fun
among our members through membership in a local Chapter, as well as promoting our annual Samboree,
various chapter trips and other group activities. 

The Northern California Good Sam Association has two elected officers, State Director and State Treasurer. 
Each office serves a two year term and the terms are staggered.

The State committee is the governing body of the Association and is comprised of the State Director, the State Treasurer and the individual Chapter presidents.  The State Committee meets three times a year, in January and September in Woodland and in April in conjunction with the annual Samboree at Lodi. All members of the Association are invited and encouraged to attend these meetings.  The State Staff is appointed by the State Director and serves during the term of the State Director.  Their function is to help with the State activities and be a liaison with the Chapters.  The members of the State Staff are not a part of the State Committee and have no voting rights.
